Terms of Service

Last updated 29 June 2026

By using MapScout you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

MapScout lets you export the businesses you view on Bing Maps to a CSV enriched with publicly available, deliverability-checked contact emails. It runs on a pay-as-you-go credit model — no subscription.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for how you use the data you export, including compliance with applicable laws such as anti-spam (e.g. CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and Microsoft's terms. MapScout is for legitimate business-to-business outreach. Do not use it for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purposes, and do not resell the raw exported data as a dataset.

Credits & billing

Credits are purchased in packs. One credit covers one returned business lead; you are charged per returned result. Credits do not expire. Refunds follow our policy: unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase; credits already spent on an extraction are non-refundable, since each run incurs per-result data costs. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Data accuracy

Emails are verified at the mail-server (MX) level on a best-effort basis and each row is labelled (domain OK, dead domain, or unverified). We do not guarantee deliverability or that any contact is current. The service and its data are provided "as is".

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapScout is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid us in the prior three months.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
